err.... Where the hell is nView in Vista?

As far as I can tell, its not supported? This annoys me, a tad. oh wait, no it doesnt it annoys me beyond belief?!!

The ONLY reason i bought an nvidia GPU for my new PC is becuase i run dual monitors and nView was perfect for setting them up and adding additonal features.

Does anyone know of a tweak or anything to enable some sort of similar app

Without nview I cant even get a different wall paper on my monitors...

Yes, it's completely missing. I'm using Matrox's GXM to divide my desktop, but then again I'm also running a Matrox triplehead2go, not sure if its desktop divider will run without it (though it does let you divide up additional screens not plugged into the triplehead).

Unfortunately it would seem all the desktop splitting apps are XP only, like gridmove. Hopefully I'm missing something as I'd appreciate one myself...

You can do the wallpapers with Ultramon, though it's not free.

Ultramon doesn't let you divide up your desktop, at least not under Vista (though I can't remember any such function under XP).

hmm... as above. i dont want to pay for something that was free and works fine on my XP machine. is multimon the free version of ultra?

Talk about revival of an old thread....

I gave ultramon a blast. Its awesome. How I lived without this, i dont know. I reccomend any other dual screen users to at least give the trial a blast, you get 30 days free. I intend to buy a copy when i upgrade to Windows 7.

Also looked at multimon and display fusion. Both seemed a tad lacking in comaprision compared with ultramon. But they are free i guess, so cant have it all.
