Sorry to be bothering ye fine people again, but recently with the 181.22 drivers I be gettin' me a whole gallery full of nvlddmkm.sys blue screens.

They don't happen that often, but it is still a pain when they do. I've got 2 9800 GTX+ in SLI. Is it the 181.22 drivers? Could someone point me to the last known most stable drivers please? 180.48?

Cheers

EDIT - forgot to say, it says something about failure to respond from timeout or something...

180.60 CUDA drivers seem to be the most stable of late, I'm using 182.05 beta now and they seem a lot more stable than 181.2x.

Having said that tho - nvlddmkm.sys errors are rarely actually caused by the nVidia drivers but far more likely to be a sign of instability in the system, commonly the northbridge/memory controller, faulty RAM or unstable RAM overclock or something getting too warm.

I know some people are sceptical about it - but as soon as I saw the asus motherboard thats where my finger would be pointing - although the 790 boards seem to be more stable than the older ones.

I've been getting this with 181.22. Not had it for a few weeks, it's suddenly started again. Most frustrating!
