Hi guys,
I have done a search for this and I see a few members on here have had the same problem but I would like to start my own thread.

So a while ago I updated to 320.18 and noticed when I put my PC into sleep mode when I woke it up it would BSOD.

So I looked at the mini-dump file and the error is;

nvlddmkm.sys

What I have done;

-Uninstalled 320.18, ran driver sweeper and installed 314.22. Again the same problem.

- Reinstalled Windows, using the 314.22 drivers. Again the same problem.

- Took the card out and cleaned it, cleaned the PCI slot as well for any - dust or anything. Same problem.

- Tested RAM, no problem with any of the sticks.

- Ran Furmark, no artifacts or any kind of problem like that.

- Played Grid 2 for over an hour, left it for a while longer in game. No issue.

- Can shutdown and restart with no issue.

So I really am at a loss as to what else I can try!

Any suggestions?

Dont want to be a A! ;)

But why you need to put your pc into sleep! :confused:

Just turn it off! ;)

Sleep is for businesses not users! Why would a home user need the PC to sleep as opposed to shutdown/ power off?? :confused:

I don't need to but just putting it into sleep and then being able to "resume working" straight away is better than shutting down and starting up every time.

Just thought I would update this,
I set my PC in the power options to sleep after 10mins inactivity and I left it and it went to sleep. Woke it up and it was perfect, no BSOD or anything!

So it is only when I "force" sleep mode, is this a driver issue or a window issue?
