Hey, I did a repair install yesterday to fix one problem, now I have another. When playing videos in iTunes (not checked others), it plays for a few seconds, then BSOD's. I have wrote the error codes as I know they are useful.
nvmcp.sys
STOP:0x0000008E (0xC0000092, 0xF63AC946, 0xF78AAE1C,0x00000000)

I have downloaded the new drivers from nvidia, but still doesnt work. BTW, all videos in iTunes are in mp4 format.

EDIT: Just watched a .mpeg music video in WMP and it worked normally.

Well that error message is being thrown up by nvmcp which will be built-in sound on an Nforce-based motherboard. Have you tried reinstalling your chipset drivers and have you installed the correct ones for your motherboard. Failing that, you could try disabling audio in the BIOS and see if the error is still thrown up.

I'm pretty sure they are the correct ones as Windows Update updated them, and the pc came with them already installed. I seemed to have isolated the problem to QuickTime. I reinstalled, but I also looked in the registry for any QuickTime stuff, but it was all clean.
