Hi i am looking for either 1 or 2tb nvme m2 drive

Is there a list of the top 4 or 5 most desirable drives that are not going to break the bank?

So some of these drives need heatsinks
I mean is it dangerous without one and how do I know which drive needs a heatsink or not

So the crucial p3 plus is also a good drive?

Basically currently i have two drives installed:

1 x crucial p5 250gb

1 x samsung 980 1tb

I plan to take the 250gb and replace is with a 1/2tb drive and then remove some extra SSD drives

So i found a p3 plus 1tb for under £38

Bargain!
But it Can’t be true till it arrives from the port of shanghai though right lol

so here is a question...

my os is running on 1 x samsung 980 1tb

is there any advantage of me ghosting that drive on to the p3 1TB plus? ie will it be any quicker? or will there only be a very small difference in speed?

Yes apparently my new nvme drive arrived at heathrow via i would assume a Chinese airline and has now cleared customs…

Now i must decide whether i wish to spend £49.99 on 3 x new bequiet 120mm argb fans

Thermalright TL-C12CW-S CPU Fan 120mm White ARGB Case Cooler Fan, 4pin PWM Silent Computer Fan With S-FDB Bearing Included, up to 1500RPM cooling fan(3 quantities)

Less than £11
u think they are better than the bequiet fans then?

yes they are a lot cheaper and funnily enough in another thread they came up as one of the options to replace my current DIY fans

3 for approx £33 - suppose this upgrade can probably wait but good news is today I received my new NVME drive from Shanghai :)
