injures reported as not life threatening thankfully

bikes going past my house from early the morning on the way up to the north coast to spectate

first time in a few years with good weather rather than a washout during race-week

Correct - they guy in the air (who rode over the other guy) suffered 2 dislocated shoulders, he was doing an interview earlier on tv before the races today. He said if he'd just dislocated the one shoulder he would have been racing! :eek:

They guy on the ground (Ryan Farquhar) is still in hospital, looking good for recovery though.

Unfortunately deaths are just part of this type of racing, same for IOM TT - you won't stop the people who love this sport competing though, it's in their blood.
