NWLINK2.IPX

hi my firewall keeps blocking this NWLINK2.IPX can anyone tell me how to stop it poping up and what it is ???

Sounds like you have IPX/SPX enabled. If you dont need it (its not really used these days much) then uninstall it.
Go into your network adaptor properties.
Under where it says "This connection uses the following items", highlight "NWLink IPX/SPX Compatible..."
then click uninstall button below

I have IPX/SPX installed (some old games need it) but is it supposed to be constantly transmitting small packets across my network even though no programs are using it?
