Anyone using this and have upgraded their stock fans? My games have been crashing a lot recently mainly in Warzone. My setup is...

Ryzen 3700x with stock prism cooler
4x16GB G.Skill Trident Z RGB
3070ti FE

Temps are around 75-80. The memory and graphics are boiling hot to the touch so not sure if that's normal.

Did you replace for normal fans or specific fans made for static pressure? Looking to replace the rear 120mm and top for a 140mm fan for exhaust. I did want some RGB action like AER but looking at Noctua fans, don't need it dead silent.

Ignore things being hot to the touch, just monitor your temps and clocks. My case is made from aluminium and after some gaming I swear everything is really hot to the touch. The heat has to go somewhere.

To reduce temps with the H510 (I had one) I would do the following:

- Remove dust filters if you can
- Get some Artic P12/P14 PWM fans, these are cheap and great pressure optimised fans. Worked really well for me. Fill all the slots, so I think thats 2 at the front and 2 exhausts
- Maybe get a better CPU cooler if your CPU temps are anything to worry about

It's worth checking what your temps are like with your side panel off, this gives a good indicator as to how much your case is adding heat.

Pretty much what Pocket10s said.

Although I rarely use exhaust fans. I remove all PCIe back slot covers to increase rear vent area around GPU thus improving front to back airflow, thus lowing air temp into cooler fans, thus lowering component temp and fan speed. I fill front with good pressure rated fans (Artic P are decent) and block any openings in front half of case not covered by fans so air they push into case has to flow back to exhaust vents, not leak out or around sides of fans to end up going in circles. Using both intake and exhaust fans is same principle as push / pull fans on coolers and radiators .. little to no improvement, especially at same noise levels. This is because 2x fans make more noise htan 1, and 1x fans moves as much air as 2x fans at same noise level. End result is only time cooling is 1-2c better is when fans are at full speed. Obviously there are exceptions to every rule, but just intake case fans are very good 99.9% of the time Also, if case has good fans and airflow setup they usually ran cooler with side cover on than off. This is because fan/s layout and speed curve are setup to optimize airflow with case closed, not open.

I find the information on static pressure cases confusing as some say don’t use front fans and just swear by exhausts fans because of the way it designed to draw as much air from gaps and what not in order to exhaust it out. Not to mention in the NZXT case there’s not much space at the front to draw in cool air too.

I honestly tried this, and yes it does work. But there is a trade off that is not explained when online reviews do it, and thats noise to performance ratio. The noise to performance ratio when you have all fan slots filled at a lower RPM is better than having 2 exhaust fans at a higher RPM. I tested this too, my H510 performed better with all fan slots filled and was quieter.
