Hi all,

this may be in the wrong place, however i thought id take a punt.

i recently bought a nzxt phantom 820 case, second hand from ebay, and during its delivery with yodel it has sustained some damage... this is a crack on the front panel which has also damaged an led.

i emailed the ebay user to find out who he used to deliver it etc and they are saying they are not liable for the damage. (shock)

however the ebay user offered to source a front panel for the case to replace the damaged one and tried to go through nzxt's website to see if they can help with the case. (no reply)

so i am left with the option of sending the whole thing back to him at my own expense before being reimbursed for the money, and then being caseless. or finding a front panel.

so the main question i wanted to ask is if anybody has had any damage to a case from the same manufacturer before and has had success in repairing it or replacing the damaged part.

cheers guys

I would no buy 2nd hand case as far too many small parts to go missing from the fitting kit that comes with them.

How much did you pay?

I would buy a new 630 as it is a better case minus the bling lights.

yeah theres a few things that i have noticed now after building the rig... so its a bit late now on one hand, but its my first one so im not sure whether to just bite the bullet and accept it this time and just not make the same mistake again. only paid 110 for it which is a good price for the case... just not for the crack :(

i didnt even think about it. i was looking at the top fans earlier, about to put some dust covers on them, and there was another part that had snapped off. so im returning it, im going to strip it all down tomorrow and then just buy a new one.
i think im going to go for a smaller case, just need to figure out which now :)
