NZXT 820 Fan controller issue

Hi guys, last Friday and tonight my PC suddenly decided to lock up and I could hear a ticking coming from the PC, noticed none of my case fans where spinning.

The ticking is coming from the fan controller pcb at the top of the case, If I unplug all the fans and plug them back in one by one it'll start working again.

I currently have 8 fans on this controller. Is it likely that the controller is failing? Only had the case two months and before this had no issue with it.

Do you think OCUK would ship me a new controller or am I looking at having to strip a full WC setup out to send the case back if the problem keeps happening.

Contacted NZXT directly and their support are shipping me a new fan controller board out free of charge.

Took 3 days to get back intouch with me but can't argue with that service.

I had this exact issue too and narrowed it down to load across the fan controller. I unplugged one fan and the issue went away so if you get a repeat issue with your new FC, at least you'll know where to start fault finding.
