I'm finally building my epic new pc tomorrow (fist pump). Just a quick query, with this software does it have to be open for it to work? It sounds quite bloaty and I'd rather not have it using up my PC's resources. Does the pump have some sort of memory that remembers the last saved setting?
If it doesn't and I have to run it constantly than the pump is getting plugged into the psu through an adapter. I'll lose control of the pump speed adjustments but it's better than having bloaty software running constantly. The asus bios would be more than adequate for controlling fan speed which is what I really care about...
