So nzxt are going to be releasing new aios shortly with supposedly an even better and quieter pump.

What's the cam software like though, as there's numerous threads online about it being buggy and generally a bit rubbish? I presume afterburner can be ran alongside it even though cam offers GPU over clocking? Is the corsair software actually better?

Used it for a while until it broke that they were recording alsorts of info while the software was running and sending it to NZXT including stuff they didn't need to know.

I generally stick to MSI afterburner and / or HWINFO

I used this just for the led lights once I get the blue strobing lights I take all the task manager processes to do with it off.

It's ******* awful and I believe many others on the internet share the same sentiment. At any one time I have some sort of issue with it, the current one being it doesn't load properly when windows starts about 50% of the time (just gets stuck on the login screen).

The reviews of the new pump show no difference in noise levels e.g. dB. I couldn't find any information on whether it sounds different.

I opted for an air cooler because when doing less intensive activities it's possible to cool the CPU with quite low RPM making them inaudible. Also no issues with pumps dying or making annoying noises when air moves around.
