Really like my NZXT S340 Elite case, but it's time for a change. I want to flip my 280 cooler and have room to upgrade to a 360, neither of which can be done in this case. Had it 6 years, and never had a single issue.

Looking strongly at the H9 Flow and Elite. Really like the Elite, but the price and the lack of airflow on the top is a bit of a concern.

Can anyone with this H9 Elite comment on how well suited it is for a 360 top mounted AIO? May sound a stupid question, but where does it actually exhaust to in this configuration??

Thanks!

The elite is restrictive on top.
First issue with the H9, any variant, is that the clearance for top AIO is minimal. Thicker fans or radiator, or a combination of both can be an issue.
Even regular sized fan and radiators can seat too close to the top of the motherboard, and close to the vertical bar that hides the cables. That can cause unnecessary noise in some fans.
You can use the side position for your AIO, but better check for other people for compatibility, as not all 360mm AIOs would fit there.
Bottom mounted fans, at least the three that I’ve tried (Phanteks T30, Phanteks M25 and Thermalright TL-B12) and all had been noisier than any other case there because of the lack of gap between them and the frame. A 5mm spacer should sort it out.
Not sure if you’re only considering the H9, but the NV7 is a much better case. The O11D Evo too, but too expensive when you consider how much more refined the NV7 looks and also includes an amazing dual channel RGB controller.

Thanks dude appreciated. I already have an NZXT Hue+ which I'd reuse but obviously I'm then limited to nzxt rgb stuff. The nv7 looks good but aesthetically it doesn't appeal :/

the O11 Evo RGB has caught my eye now too. There's a trend forming here, ha. These mid tower dual chamber cases are new to me, but I like them. They're a bit bigger than the 340 Elite I have now, but not by a huuuge amount. Quite like the look of the silly RGB duo fans too, not gonna lie.

Anyone know if there's a thread for this Lian Li O11D Evo RGB case? I can't find one.
