NZXT Hue+ Help needed

Hey guys,
Before you ask, i've been to NZXT for support and received an RMA, yet my problem still persists.
So i got my Hue+ a while back and it worked fine, all wires plugged in correctly and the software showing everything as it should. One day it all stopped, showing the wrong hardware specs and not displaying some, also not allowing me to change my lighting. Same problem with the new one i got, but this one doesn't even show the lighting section on the dashboard. I noticed that my RAM could be affecting it as when downloading the software again, it displayed my RAM as 2 sets of 16GB, 2x 8GB each, whereas my ram is 16GB, 4x 4GB each. Just wondering is anyone else has had this problem and if so, how did you fix it? Would really light my pretty lights back

Yes, i've tried multi versions of the software and updated firmware to the latest version, the screenshot is with the latest versions

You seem to have covered everything.

Best guess is a firmware/software issue that they need to resolve...

I've scoured the issues but found nothing on in, I'm thinking hardware but i'm unsure if this could be an issue, not trained in the world of software

I had problems when using the internal USB header so I put a cable through a backplate and plugged it into a normal USB port on the back and all the problems stopped.

So after scouring the forums for hours yesterday, i've come to the conclusion that it's the software and firmware versions of the CAM that is not working, and not user error or the Hue+, nothing i can do for now, just need to hope NZXT sort this mess out

I have tried IRSHunters NZXT Hue+ on another system based on Z77 chipset and it still doesn't work. How poor is the software? It wouldn't install at first, came up with a .CAB file error but installed on my X79 system. Downloaded the non signed version of the software and it installed ok but my god is it terrible! Whenever you change any of the LED setting it does... Nothing. Once in a while it will change the LEDs but its hit and miss, mostly miss. Come on NZXT get your finger out and sort this shoddy pile of poop out!

I have worked for software companies and if I distributed this software in this much of a mess I wouldn't have had a job for long.. :mad:
