NZXT Kraken X72- both cpu & GPU?

my sister has just ordered the above for her rebuild and has ordered 2 Krakens as she wants to put one on the cpu- 9900k and also one on her rtx2080ti with a G12 bracket.
I've looked at her case and it will fit but will it be possible to do this and control both of the loops individually? She will also need to use a USB splitter- I've got a spare splitty9- as her motherboard only has one usb 2.0 socket.
Any advice greatfully received chaps and chapesses

Yes the software will detect both individually. I have one for CPU and one for GPU as described above.

You won't need an X72 for the GPU from memory I have the X42 for my GTX 1080 and it never goes above 53degrees full whack, previously it throttled heavily in the same case under the stock cooler.

thanks- shes already ordered both X72 so should be fun getting the case looking neat and tidy with all the wires

It might help if you combine the USB cables into one plug. If each one only uses 4/5 wires on one row, you can pop the pins out of one plug and put them in the other. Saves you having the splitty and extra wire.

not thought of that- will give it a try but all cables will be hidden behind mobo so shouldnt be an issue if I cant do it"
