NZXT Kraken z73 VS Corsair Icue 150i Elite LCD for AMD AM5 7900x Advice for new build

Stuck between deciding for an AIO 360 for new PC build, ideally want to limit the number of software I will need to use to control RGB etc, as the same time I want the best performance possible.

I’m stuck between the NZXT Kraken Z73 and CORSAIR iCUE H150i ELITE LCD, they will be used with lian SL120 Infiity fans.

Does surface contact area make a big difference on the actual CPU? as the Corsair 150i elite would be better for the AMD 7900x because of the shape of the contact patch (Square/Hexagnol), where as the Kraken is more a circular shape contact area?

So far build to include:-

Be Quiet Dark Power Pro 12 1200w
Lian Li o11 Dynamic Evo - White
Lian Li SL120 infinity Fans - White x10

Asus X670 E Hero
AMD 7900X
Corsair Dominator Platinum 6000 Expo CL36 ? Would I need corsair software to control the rgb on these? Would this RAM fit with the above AIO's?
7900xt GPU ??

1 990 Pro 2TB
2x 2TB SN850x
1 1 TB SN850X

42" OLED - PG42 UQ

I mean the copper metal contact that touches the CPU, not the shape of the top block..... I think the Corsair AIO would cover the AMD 7900x better?

Just found a vid on youtube, you're right, the contact area for the Z73 is massive and would fully cover the AMD 7900x. Which has better CPU mounting brackets for AM5 Ryzen? the Corsair or Z73 or are they the same?

To be honest I don't know but it's probablly only a standard AM5 bracket for each cooler.

There both excellent coolers but I would be also looking at the closet match to the fans for your case.

I'm planning on removing the fans the cooler comes with and replacing with the sl120 infinity. Will just sell them on ebay
