Looking to build a new PC and this case has caught my eye.
My only worry is 4 fans sounds like it could be potentially noisy, anyone have experience with this case ?

Also, ill be getting either a Geforce 7900GT or x1800 xt, with the cooling in the case would water cooling make a big difference? Bit of a noob in these things :o

Thanks in advance for any advice

The case is a ok one, not built to too high a standard and a little overpriced at its RRP, depends how much you are getting it for.

It is not to ideal for watercooling, there are easier ones to mod than it.

Air cooling is more than sufficent in a good case for any rig.

I just think thaty this case, while a good gaming style case, gets beaten by Thermaltakes offerings.

Thanks for the advice, and yeah I noticed my sig didnt come out the way it was meant to :)

Fixed it now, hope that it is now acceptable.

Ive not been looking around a great deal since the Lexa seemed like a good all round case, the main things that bugged me about it was the potential noise and also the water cooling space, with the build I was aiming for I was getting worried about space with the Lexa.

Found the Lexa for £88 which does seem a little much for the case specs, the thing I liked mostly about it (bar the look) was the fans and their placement, its got to provide good airflow.

Would a thermaltake Shark be a better option?

About the same really.

Akasa Eclipse is a good option if you can get past the looks, built better than both cases, and will cool better, it is bigger, can easily handle watercooling or any rig on air, with good airflow at low noise.

More fans does not mean better cooling though.

The eclipse with a pair of 7v fans will cool anything you are likely going to run in it.

As you know, i got an Antec P180 2 weeks ago and i`m pretty chuffed with it in terms of quality and fan noise.

It has 3 built in fans of which i only use 2.

You can barely hear it when it`s on.

Important that your cpu fan compliments them in terms of noise. No point in getting nice silent fans and having your CPU fan sound like an Airwolf :)

The P180, as advised, also has lots of space to help air flow around and all in all i`m pretty chuffed with it.

If you are doing watercooling properly you mod the case, same with using a prommie really.

It is part of the whole experience! You also get more kudos amongst geeky groups having a watercooled PC70 than just about any other case.

Haha with watercooling the main issue with the case is removed. It just runs a bit hotter than most cases with air, which some people do not like, although it runs fine with anything I have put into it on the stability front, its a good case all in all is the Wavemaster, looks the buisness!
