Hi everyone.

I posted this in an existing thread on the general hardware page however, this is probably a more appropriate location. I bought the above case in my new build that I put together on Friday evening. Everything is working perfectly apart from the fans. The LED's on the back panel are working OK, and I believe these are linked to the fans in some way? I originally thought I could not locate the cables however, I have opened up to computer and have found the right ones, which were already plugged in correctly. Something I have noticed is the molex (connected to the PSU to power the fan controller) only has 3 wires running from it and has one of the central 2 wires of the four missing completely (including the pin). Does this sound right? I have traced it back to the top panel and there is no wire at all (it hasn't just come loose).

If this is the reason why the fan controller is not working, do I have to send the case back or is it possible to get hold of a replacement? The cable looks to be a 7 pinned end (connected to the controls on the top panel) splitting two ways into:

A. A three pin connector leading into the controller and
B. A molex to be connected to the power supply.

Could someone help me out?

From the fan controller there should be a wire that connects to a small pcb round the back of the motherboard, the 3 pin plugs in at the top, and fans get plugged in to either side, then the molex plugs into the psu.
So if everything is plugged in and it doesn't work I'd try a different molex connection from the psu just to clear up if it is dodgy molex connector from the psu. I'd send it back tbh, there's a chance it could be the pcb, or the controller itself that is at fault.
I'd get a hold of the retailer and see if they can help you fault check and sort out a solution. be it an RMA or replacement parts for your brand new case.
If you bought it from Ocuk you should be fine mate

I rang them today (it wasn't from OCuk) and the customer service is terrible. Today was the third time I rang them about it. Do you know if the molex cable should have all 4 pins there or is it ok to have one of the middle ones missing?

Molex cable does not need all 4 wires, 2 central ones are GND, so you only need the 1 for a fan controller. Have you tried a different molex plug from your psu?

Yeah I have. It didn't work. I've checked everything so many times. I don't really want to send the whole case back either. I emailed nzxt earlier today about it but I doubt they'll reply.

I mean the company/shop you oredered the case from, Nzxt will take some time to get back to you, since you took delivery of your case on Friday it's the shop you bought it from that you need to contact

I've rang them three times already so far. It's safe to say their customer service doesn't seem very good.
