NZXT Phantom - Dust filter for front of case?

Hi all,

I want to fit a dust filter for the front 140mm fan in my phantom, but seeing as the front mesh part of the case is an unusual shape, I'd like to find out what others have done?

I could fit a dust filter over the fan, but this won't stop dust being drawn into the case through the grille.

Is there something I can buy and cut to the desired shape to get around this problem?

Yeah it'll be hard to find something that does this, tights or similar will probably be a good idea.

I bought a sheet of foam dust filter on fleabay a while ago, which whilst rather expensive, will see to all my fan filter needs for a couple of years I expect. Plenty of it in the roll, and very easy to cut and shape.

Probably shouldn't link to it, but if you search for 'dust filter sheet', you'll find it. Small sections are only a couple of quid, but the sheet of it is twenty five.

Cheers chaps. For now I'm using a 140mm dust filter jammed in the front part which seems to be doing the job reasonably well. I'll have a look at getting some foam filter instead though.

Bit of an oversight by NZXT I think!
