I'm thinkning about getting one of these NZXT Phantom cases. Firstly, I love the look of them and presume they are nice to work with?

Secondly, does anyone know exactly what fans come with it as standard and what optional fans can be fitted and whether they are necessary to add?

I am not overclocking, or at least, I don't think I will be :)

Would suggest that you Do a google and have a look at some of the reviews out there - I found the recent one from vortez a good read.(there are quite a few out there including a number on u-tube).

Decided to buy a white one and do like the look of it 'in the flesh'.- others may not like it - each to their own.

I will not be building/installing for a week or so , so cannot say with certainty that it will be easy to work with BUT it looks as tho it will be - no sharp edges and lots of space.

Fans - it comes with 2 x 120 intake at side + 1x120(back) & 1 x200(top) exhaust which leaves space for 1 x120 or 140 at front (intake - I'm reasonably sure) 1x 200 at side and (an additional) 1x 200 on the top.- Not at all sure wether the additional 200 fans should be intake or exhaust (Have started a thread about this but no replies to date).

Did do a few searches of the nzxt forum's and google about additional fans but not with any great results ; apart from it looks as tho installing an additional 140 intake fan at the front gives good results.

Have bought a 140 fan for the front and an extra 200 fan - have more or less decided that I'm going to build to start with without the extra 200 fan and then having run for a week or so will probably try it as an extra intake for the side (to cool the gpu) and see if it aids temps or not.

Temps are not the sole reason to me for getting additional fans , although I do like things to run cool - I read that at full speed the fans can be quite noisy - I would prefer more fans at lower speeds.:D

We shall see.

The reviews I've read have mentioned problems (sometimes) if your looking to use Corsair H50 or 70 coolers and tall cpu coolers can give rise to issues - partic. if your thinking of adding the 200 fan to the side.

Sorry if I'm rambling a little - been a long day!! - Hope this is of use:)
