NZXT Phantom Foam Silencing

I've been thinking about getting the Foam Silencing kit for my case but wondered if these actually work. what type of reduction could I expect?

It will cut out any high pitched winey noises mostly, such as some power supplies. However they do hold in heat a little, not a consideration most of the time but think about where you are going to put it too!

Think the only high pitched noise i get is from the soon to be replaced cpu cooler. Might give this a miss as then if there not to much difference (its pretty quite anyway).
