NZXT Phantom?

Hey what do you think about the NZXT Phantom? Worth the price? is it a good case?

I think it is a bit of a Marmite case, you either love it or hate it.

I have one and although I haven't actually used it yet, it seems quite good.

is it mostly plastic? how's the door? sturdy enough?

There are only two plastic bits, the top and the front and neither are structural. They are just decorative. The rest of the case is steel and quite well made with plenty of room. This is the first case that I have had with a door so I don't really know how it compares, it is quite solid though and has a little magnet in it to keep it shut.

From what I've heard it's durable ABS plastic. So you wont have to worry about anything snapping if you drop it.

However I don't like doors or paying £120 so I bought a CM-690 II, probably one of the best cases I've owned.

cool i'll have a look at that case. although i do like the Phantom no matter what anyone say's

i know it's an expensive case but what i like about it is it has a lot of room inside and also it has easy access hard drive slots. plenty room inside to fit pretty much anything i want....i think

You will be surprised how quickly all that room disappears when you start fitting everything in it. I am really struggling to get everything that I want in it (there is a lot of stuff to go in there though).

I got mine recently and I love it so far. My only gripe is that it could be a tiny bit wider. My Frio is so tall that I think it would foul a side fan if I installed one... which I would like to do because my GPU gets quite toasty. My HDDs have gotten very cool though coming from my last case

Cable management, oodles of space, toolless design if poss, good cooling, sexiness.

Enough room to fit a really long graphic cards without removing hd cages.

Enough head room for a big air cooler.

Top USB 3.0, to plug in external HD with really short cables.

Looks, no new antecs.

easy to clean dust filters.
