NZXT sentry mix 2 fan controller

hi guys

im planning on getting this fan controller to put in my corsair air 540 case, will be using 4 corsair LED fans (3 AF 120s and 1 AF 140) and two corsair SP 120s

i noticed that the fan controller using 4 pin connections and all the fans im getting are 3 pin, someone told me that the connections on the mix 2 will work fine with 3 pin fans but not all 3 pin fans so can anyone confirm or deny if my fans will work or not?

You'll be fine mate, you can use 3 pin connectors in a 4 pin no probs mate

i know it was a stupid question i just wanted to be sure before i bought all the stuff

They are not 4 pin connectors they just have room for a 4 pin to slot into it. Otherwise you cannot fit 4 fans into it.
