Watched this again last night, what a great movie.

Well acted, a great story and wonderfully funny, I'm not fanatical about the Cohen Brothers but this and Fargo are both in my top 20 movie list, if you haven't seen it, it comes highly recommended :)

I enjoyed it as well, who would have thought that you could combine Greek epic story telling with bluegrass music?

It's a really good film as are Fargo and the Big Lebowski.

tbh I didn't think I'd like O Brother, Where Art Thou? but I'm glad I forced myself to watch it.

I beg to differ there mate, I don't think it deserves to be mentioned in the same breath as those films, I thought it was well overrated.

Just my 2p.+

Tremendous movie. In the big rock candy mountains you never change your socks, and the little streams of alcohol come a tricklin' down the rocks. Theres a lake of stew and of whiskey too ... in the big rock candy mountains.

"I am a man of constant sorrow" is particularly good

the music's amazing!! have you heard the original to "man of constant sorrow"? it's pretty good, but as with all Dylan tracks, it sounds better covered :p

OBWAT is my favourite Cohen Brothers film, very well-written and it's excellently well-acted throughout. it's a crime, the amount of people who havent seen this film.

Sorry I didn't reply earlier, but it just didn't grab me, I was bored throughout and didn't find it that amusing either.

weird, i felt that about Fargo...my parents went nuts for that film, but i just didnt get it.

I didnt think I'd like this film when I first heard about it, but really found it enjoyable to watch. I've only seen it once, so may well be time for me to watch it again.
