Hi guys what do you think of this:
CoreTemp-Scr.jpg

RAM is Corsair 8500 2 x 2 GB @ 1.9v All other volts on auto. Temps can get to 58-9 as room hits 22C. Is 100% stable:)
Did try 3.6GHz but it failed after 5 mins of Prime on above settings.
Thanks for any feedback

looks good - would the NB be getting enough volts? [possible reason for crash at 3.6?]
what board is it?

Get the volts of auto, it can cause serious damage to your hardware by over-voltage. When you find the right manual settings you'll be able to push it further :).

When overclocking the cpu you want to take the ram out of the equation.so slacken the timings or get it below its rated speed first-then get 3.6ghz running on the slack timings.

However ram might need a bump in voltage. At 1066 its specified to run at 2.2v. However just to throw you off my crucial will do 1100 at 1.98v (board overvolting)

You attemping 9x400 or 8x450? The latter will need more volts on your northbridge

And get all volts off auto now!

It is all well & good to say get voltages of auto BUT there are so many of them & I have no idea what they should be set to as most have a v large range!
There does not seem to be a way to discover what the actual auto settings are.
Should an o/c fail how do I know which to adjust? Or do I increase all by a small margin? What are the critical ones?
CPU is 8.5 x 412

After a freeze setting all volts to 1 setting above lowest. I now have RAM 1.94, CPU 1.25 & NB 1.26 [ said lowest was 1.1 with 45 nm chip]
