O/C system and changing ram

I am changing my ram from 2 x 1gb of 1066 ram to 2 x 2gb of 800 ram.My Q6600 is currently running at 3.2.Do I need to set the system back to stock when I fit the ram,or can I just change the ram timings in bios,and leave the rest of it 'as is'?

Should be fine (your clock will either be 400 * 8 = 800mhz RAM frequency or 356 * 9 = 712mhz RAM frequency) just make sure you give the RAM the right amount of juice in the bios as per the manufactures specification
