Started watching this, it's nearly 8 hours long and split up but it's one of the best documentaries I've ever seen. Absolutely astonishing. We all know he did it but this isn't just about the murders. It's a collective of many things. I've not finished it yet but wow, 10/10 so far.

Also regarding the lost confession that never got aired (full video on YouTube)

"Hypothetical" but uses words like, I, remember, don't remember. How do you not remember a hypothetical event? and speaking like a murderer, nervously laughing, feeling no remorse. Not to mention him writing a book graphically describing how he would have killed Nicole Simpson. What innocent person does that?

What an idiot though, get away with the crime of the century and still ends up in jail cause you're a retard... Justice served.

Thanks for flagging this OP. On episode 2 of 5 and it’s really excellent viewing.

With this coming out in 2016, it’s incredible to think that this won’t capture the most recent developments - he’s now out of jail, free.

For those wondering, it’s on BBC iPlayer although it’s a little hard to find as it’s under their ‘Storyville’ set of documentaries. So it’s buried amongst many other episodes but it’s there.

I finished this today after a bit of a binge. Wow, what a series.

It’s hard to know what to think of it all, other than feeling really sad for America. It has huge problems with racism and then there’s OJ, being the most elite man he can be and being treated by everyone like his race doesn’t matter. The black community wants him to speak up about issues in society but he thinks it will interfere with his life where HE is treated by his own merits… so he steers clear of it. And he’s criticised for it.

OJ is living the life that others want and he is a super privileged mega elite athlete. You shouldn’t have to be as good as him to get basic respect… but I can appreciate why OJ doesn’t want this huge weight and responsibility on his shoulders when HE has been so successful himself.

Then in a bizarre twist, he gets away with the murder because the race card is masterfully played and he’s then deemed to be a victim of police prejudice… when it really has nothing to do with the circumstances of the murder. Regretfully, there were some huge weak points in the prosecution strategy.

… but even though it’s horrendous that he got away with it, I can simultaneously understand how he got away with it (and why the jury only took one morning to say not guilty) considering the political climate. The racism faced by some communities was outrageous and the ‘not guilty’ vote was just a big imperfect “**** you” to privileged white America.

Argh it’s such a maddening tragedy on so many levels. Terrible.
