Hey im specing a rig for a mate but am having trouble keeping it under £1200. He needs everything except soundcard and speakers. So far :

on top of that is the asus P5B-D and E6400 (+£300). The only way i can see to get this rig under budget is by losing the 20" widescreen which would be a real shame, or downgrading the mobo to a DS3/DS4. B.t.w he's a gamer and studying music tech at uni.
O noes just realised i have x2 sets of the geil ram in the basket. I guess it's just over £1200 after all. lol.
Ok any alterations you think are worthwhile ?
