O-Ring

Hey all,

I recently moved into a new house and in doing so somehow split one of the o-rings on the cpu barb (xspc rasa kit). It was quite late so I couldn't get a replacement o ring and I needed my PC working the next day so I sealed it with bathroom sealer as a temporary measure which is working fine at the mo (the tubing was still solidly on the bard with the tie in place).

Will the sealent need to be replaced (I have an o ring now from xspc), it looks a bit of a mess but seems to be working fine. I'd rather not spend the weekend chaning it if this will work safely for the time being.

Remove the sealant and fit the o ring you will be sorry if the sealant fails and u spring a leak

Should be ok if you did a good job of it.

Some of my o rings are flat as anything and still work

maybe so, however - why take the risk?

is it worth taking the chance on it leaking, and causing damage
