I'm looking for a new case, and like compact cases. I like the look of the Lian Li O11 Air Mini.
I have a full ATX mainboard and a NZT Kraken X63 (280mm rad) that cools it. This build will have either a 4080 or 7900 XTX that I'd like vertically mounted.

Looking at the spec, I can only fit a 280mm rad at the front when using a configuration that supports ATX and vertical mount. I know it'll fit but is it going to be awful for air flow? Would bringing in air from the side and underneath the GPU be enough?

I've seen some people say that you can just about fit a 280 at the side.. but then this video suggests front mounted radiator (intake) side fans as exhaust and bottom fans as intake works best. This isn't vertical GPU mount though.

Just wondering if anyone here has done a similar build?

I'm now considering a custom loop to cool the CPU and GPU...

Kinda tempted to just buy the case (if it comes back into stock!) and see what fits (or doesn't!)

Well yes, I can see it'd fit without the front radiator!

I can't fit that 280 AIO at the top as it fouls the VRM heatsinks. If I had a smaller mainboard, it might work. Side mount is only 240 too.

Might ponder a custom loop, stick a 240 at the top and at the side.

So.. turns out, I could make it fit.

To do this, I added spacers to mount one side and then use the offset brackers plus spacers to mount the other side. The rad is as far forwards as possible, and it *just* has enough space for one 140mm fan on it. Because of the full ATX board I have in there, there's no way I can get the second 140mm fan on it. I'm going use a 3D printed plate to mount the 120mm fan offset on the 140mm mount.

I've not fully stressed it yet, and it might make sense to horizontally mounted the 4080 - but I'll see how it goes.

Does no one read threads anymore? I fitted the 280mm rad at the top

It supports a 280mm at the front, just not with a 4080. It was fine with the 7900 XTX
