Is that actually a thing lmao.
Lovely looking build, i wish they would make the 140mm uni fans in reverse too as they look a lot better when using them for intake on the bottom and top.Lian Li 011D EVO XL Finished

Very nice indeed. Similar to how I want mine to look, although I'm still waiting for my reverse blade fans. Has anyone enquired when the expected stock is due? I placed my order 7/9 and did see an ETA of 16/9 but that seems to have vanished.Lian Li 011D EVO XL Finished

I`d like to think that they will be in the pipeline now the cases support 420mm radiators, would have been nice if they had had these available at launch.Very nice indeed. Are 140mm reverse blades in the pipeline or are we out of luck here?
Yep, having these 140mm reverse blade fans at launch would have been a nice touch. Probably wouldn't have taken long to be sold out too.I`d like to think that they will be in the pipeline now the cases support 420mm radiators, would have been nice if they had had these available at launch.
I wouldn't have thought they would have been too difficult to make, I know they wouldn't sell in the same quantities as the 120mm fans but there will still be some demand for them. I have asked if there are any in the pipeline on the Lian Li reddit page.Yep, having these 140mm reverse blade fans at launch would have been a nice touch. Looks like the 120mm reverse blade fans should be arriving next week, according to my email response.
Anyone see a reason why 2 x 3090s wouldn't fit i
Yes, it's hard to believe that they bring out a brilliant cae that supports 420mm radiators and then completely ignores bringing out a reverse blade uni fan in 140mm. The uni fan sl infinity is a great looking fan that just adds that extra touch to the finished look, without a reverse blade option then you have to have exhaust to and bottom with the side and rear intake but this isn't ideal as you have six fans as exhaust and four intake which is the opposite of what you want.Got my Evo XL now. I want to do a full watercooled setup in there but need to wait till Feb/Mar for the funds
Not impressed that Lian Li arent considering a 140mm reverse fan, or the fact that they dont do bundle packs in 140.
£80 for 3x120mm with a controller, vs £90 for 3x140mm without a controller, £120 with.
Thermaltake do 120 & 140mm fans with swappable blades, so you can run them in whatever configuration you want. ~£100 3 pack with a controller. However they're not as nice & fancy as the Lian Li's
SWAFAN 14 RGB Radiator Fan (3-Fan Pack)
SWAFAN 14 RGB features a swappable fan blade design that allows you to switch between 2 types of fan blades included in the package, so you can create the ideal airflow for your chassis without compromising the aesthetics of its RGB lighting.uk.thermaltake.com
If you are doing fully watercooled build you are better off doing them all exhaust - tested all configs in original evo with 3x360. 9x exhaust was the best.Yes, it's hard to believe that they bring out a brilliant cae that supports 420mm radiators and then completely ignores bringing out a reverse blade uni fan in 140mm. That's good to know, i would have expected more intake and less exhaust to give better results. If you are doing fully watercooled build you are better off doing them all exhaust - tested all configs in original evo with 3x360. 9x exhaust was the best.
Now I have 3x420 all exhaust in evo xl and barely doing more than 6 degree delta below 1000rpm(4090+13900k)
Passive - fans just draw fresh air through holes at the backThat's good to know, i would have expected more intake and less exhaust to give better results.
What do you use for intake?
Thanks for checking this out and reporting back. Quite gutted to be honest. I think they would look great in this particular case. What's the best way to fill the gaps then?I had a reply from Lian Li on their Facebook page and they say there's no plans for a 140mm reverse blades fans.
Yes, I'm gutted myself as it restricts options, if you really want to use reverse blade fans then you're stuck with the 120mm fans and 360mm radiators, and then there's no need for the Evo XL, you could just stick with the regular Evo.Thanks for checking this out and reporting back.
