O11D vs O11DXL

For Custom Loop or even Air, the XL would be a better choice. Allows high end CPU coolers (the non-XL is quite "short" for height, despite being a wide case), and easier to use 3 360 rads and run tubing easily.
For AIO, the non-XL would be enough.

I purposely left the inside glass plastic on in my Razer O11D so that when I sold it I would have a “selling point” of having a immaculate condition glass panel. The buyer definitely appreciated it.

funny story about my O11D Razer... the front glass with the Razer logo was ever so slightly chipped on the top right corner of my unit so I managed to get a replacement free of charge while keeping the slightly damaged one. Now I just need to think of what to do with a Razer branded O11D (non xl unfortunately) front glass panel.

Just unboxed my O11DXL and found the top left of the side panel is slightly chipped. I've posted in the tech support forum already (today, not expecting an answer on the weekend) but found your post with a search. Did OCUK sort out your replacement (if you ordered from them) or did you have to go direct to Lian Li for it? Really hoping I can get a replacement side panel shipped rather than having to deal with a full RMA.

Edit: Had my reply, have to do a full RMA as OCUK don't stock spare panels.

Hey all debating getting the XL case with the plan on migrating my loop over from evolv x

see a lot of build with distro plates but has anyone managed to get a ek d5 exres to fit with an air cooled GPU?

would look to put a 360 rad in the top and mount the d5 on the side via a uni bracket but a bit concerned it won’t clear the GPU

I’m moving my system into an XL from a Parvum case over this weekend, I will be using the EK Res with a D5 pump and a 3090 FE plus my existing slim 360 rads (top & bottom) along with an EK 360 xe in the side mount.
Having unboxed the case today I’m not anticipating any space issues!

That’s good to know as was considering going with an AIO worst case and giving up on water cooling

I’d be interested in seeing a pic once it’s mocked up

ok so its in and running but its much much tighter than I was expecting plus I didn't have the fittings I needed so my loop is a right mess but I have got the 3090 FE in a vertical mount with a EK360ex rad in the side mount with the EK ex-res mounted on the fan bracket on the bottom fan mounts.
I've got a EK 3090FE block on pre-order but my loop is so hideous I will alter it before the block arrives!
How do you get photos on here so I can show you how it fits?

ha, been there when I did my loop and completely forgot to allow additional fittings for the tee piece to get a drain point in

Going need to install my GPU in the horizontal as need to get a a pci card in below it, but I take it there’s adequate clearance between your GPU cooler and the rad as it’s currently mounted?

Id say the XL is better for your use case. Ive read some people saying that the cables can touch the glass with big 3090s on the normal o11.

Think I’ve pretty much decided on recasting into a o11XL, whilst I’ve managed to stop the overheating it sounds like a vacuum cleaner when it all ramps up which coming from my previous set up with everything underwater is annoying

just need to wait for everything to come in stock including an octo and decide whether future proofing in terms of being able to adjust colour with a full set of RBG is worth the cost as I need to buy 9 of them or just stick with single colour LED

Dho! My bad.
Thanks for resolving.
Anyway once the 3090 block arrives “Frankenstein’s” loop will be gone and hopefully the pump will feed directly into the gpu block.
But here we have an Ek x- res, vertical air cooled gpu, and 3 x 360mm rads.

Yeah unfortunately mines a generic fan mount so ordered the ek one

just waiting for my various orders to ship then I can get cracking
