Before switching to O2 Access my IP Profile was stuck at 6500 kbps, even though I regularly connected at ~8000 kbps using a Netgear DG834Gv2 (firmware 3.01.38).
Since going with O2 Access the supplied router has always synchronises at a far lower rate, ranging between 6700 and 7000 kbps.
Have tried all filters available, and using the Netgear ADSL cable instead.
After two days my IP Profile had dropped to 5500 kbps, from 6500 kbps. This was with the master socket face plate off (didn't make much difference with face plate on or off).
Have now replaced the master socket face plate and returned to the Netgear router that's connecting at around 8000 kbps again. After one day the IP Profile has increased to 7000 kbps.
Now I would like to use the O2 Box 2 router instead, but don't want to degrade my IP Profile. Any easy suggestions to get it working as well as the Netgear?
