o2 balance nag

Got an o2 sim recently.

After sending a text message, i get a balance nag saying how much is left.

Does anyone know how to disable this?

I just thought perhaps there would be a *# code to do it.

I phoned them up and its been turned off now.

Was annoying to the point i was gonna throw the sim card out of the window!

Do you have to phone them? Did they tell you have to do it over the phone by any chance?

They have to turn it off.

Seems to be settings for each numbers profile their side of the system.

He did say however it may not work, but it did.

You have to phone them to turn it off, i had to on my sharp tm100 as it used to cause it to lock up!!!!!!

i wish i had know that when i was on o2 payg, when i went to saudi they sent me the message saying your balance is ... then charged me for that so straight after i would get another one saying your balance is ...., killed my balance in less than 5 mins!

Why anyone would want to know their balance after sending a free (or at most 10p) text message is beyond me.

Totally useless and stupid feature that should be off by default.
