Hi,
I recently got o2 broadband, i dont no much about networking, my mate came around and setted it up for me. Draging some wires from the livingroom to my bedroom.

He plug it in straight into my computer using the yellow ethernet cable. They gave me o2 wireless router box.

i wanted to know what would i need to go wireless, some kind of usb adapter? would i need to get a compatible one with the router, would i get full speed? look to spend £50 to £60

I dont know if it help, I'm using Vista 64

Thanks
sho

I'd avoid wireless unless you really can't stand having cables. It introduces potential new problems and reductions in speed and stability and if you don't know that much about computers/networking, you're probably setting yourself up for a few headaches.

That said, if you really want to spend £50 or so on a wireless connection, a high quality PCI card with a good seperate aerial would cost about that much and would reduce the headaches you often get with wireless connections.
