Hi all

I was wondering if anyone could help at all.

I have 02 broadband through and O2 router. Periodically (up to every couple of minutes in some instances) the broadband will disconnect and the box will reset itself.

Stats below:

Uptime: 0 days, 0:02:29
DSL Type: G.992.5 annex A
Bandwidth (Up/Down) [kbps/kbps]: 1,187 / 5,202
Data Transferred (Sent/Received) [kB/kB]: 0.00 / 0.00
Output Power (Up/Down) [dBm]: 12.0 / 19.0
Line Attenuation (Up/Down) [dB]: 24.0 / 45.0
SN Margin (Up/Down) [dB]: 6.5 / 6.5
Vendor ID (Local/Remote): TMMB / BDCM
Loss of Framing (Local/Remote): 0 / 0
Loss of Signal (Local/Remote): 0 / 0
Loss of Power (Local/Remote): 0 / 0
Loss of Link (Remote): 0
Error Seconds (Local/Remote): 0 / 0
FEC Errors (Up/Down): 5 / 354
CRC Errors (Up/Down): 5 / 0
HEC Errors (Up/Down): 340,138 / 0

Is there anything there which looks odd?

Many thanks in advance

Joe

I have swapped the O2 box for an old netgear one and the problem seems to have gone away (for now :p). Fingers crossed! :)

FWIW my o2 connection has been dog slow today:(

Tried multiple router reboots, syncs at 14-14.5mbps every time but it's still.. just really slow:confused:

They tend to reboot themselves when they overheat. My first router did this and so did the replacement from O2. I was going to buy myself a different replacement but instead turned off the wireless and connected a non bb router as a wap. No more disconnects. I can only assume that having both wireless and the bb connection is too much for it.

which o2 package are you on ? looking at your attenuation i'd expect you to be syncing around 7-8mb not 5mb
