O2 broadband question

Hi there,

I have jsut been connected to O2 broadband. I have set the wireless network up but i would also like to play games connected to the router with an ethernet lead.

Is there an easy way to switch between the 2 connection types?

This would be down to your operating system network preferences. When you plug in your ethernet cable simply disconnect from the wireless

Ok i think id figured that out after i put this post in

Currently it has WEP as the security settings is that any good or shoul i try to set it to WPA2?

Hmm thats what i thought. Ill have to have a look into how i do that as currently i don't know. Any tips guys?

Just log into your router and change the security setting to WPA2 and a set a nice password for yourself.

Confused as to why you want to play games over ethernet as opposed to wireless, or am I missing something here.
