Hi,

I am with o2 broadband and have problems with the router they give you. I wont go into the problem but basically it's a Thompson Speedtouch issue that some people have with WoW and so I need to get a replacement that isn't a speedtouch :)

I have no clue as what router to get (never bought one before) this is for 20mbit broadband - don't need to use the router for anything other than supplying the broadband reliably, needs to have wireless.

I am told o2 needs to have a broadcom chipset router.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

Thanks, funnily enough was just looking at that one.

Wanted to pay as little as possible really though, there are some TP-Link ones for around £30. Are these rubbish? They get generally good reviews. Is the one you mentioned worth paying over 3 times as much for?

7800n is being replaced in about 2 weeks time, so I would hold off a while as the prices will drop when the new models are out.

If you fancy a bargain, a dg834gt from the bay is an excellent cheap router if you don't need gigabit ports etc.
