After using UKonline 8Mb for aaages I've been made an offer that's hard to resist by o2.

Please let me know your thoughts and experiences with o2.

I'm a heavy torrent downloader and I made that clear to the salesman at o2 and he assured me I would not get hit with a FUP.

I would use the search function but o2 is too short a search term.

Thanks

I don't use torrents but I know they don't throttle torrents.

The most I've downloaded in one month is 279GB.
I average around 180GB/month.
Full speed (19meg) 24/7.

I'm pretty sure they've not limited me in any way. Service is great, haven't had many massive speed drops/ping increases like others have.

O2 probably have the most relaxed FUP of any ISP. I'm sure I read somewhere that they have never used their FUP.

I moved from UK Online to O2 last month and havent looked back since the service is half the price and just as good.

No complaints here and I do my fair share of downloading and gaming.

o2 started out great for me.I was maxing out my 16mb connection but then after about 6 months i was only getting 12/13mb and then a month or two later it dropped down to 11mb.So in the end i switched to the 8mb service. And even now i still get the slow days.Still at around £7.50 for an 8mb connection i can't complain too much!

Fantastic. 20 meg business connection. Hardly ever down, hardly ever not full speed and no limits.

Quality operation all round.

Thanks for the feedback guys.

I'm going to go for o2 and get better dealings than my current dealings with my current providings.

8 Megabytings for free or 16 Megabytings for £2.50 per month.

Decisons, decisions.

Just make sure u check about if you are gonna go with o2, sign up too Arsenals free 40 quid online voucher, and also thru quidco they may have an o2 bb offer about but not sure.

Ive moved from ukonline also and ukonline gave me hell when I made my 1st phone call too them ever after 2 years, they said since I changed my bb too 16meg 3 months ago id have too either wait or pay the remainder of there 12 month contract ! So remember if u have recently changed speeds u sometimes enter a new 12 month contract ! Anyhow asked too speak too a manager and they quickly let me go without hassle !

For a tenner a month and same speeds more or less am well chuffed with UKonline :)

My O2 activation date is today, going to hook it all up when I get in, no longer am I slave to VM's STM.

I used the QuidCo offer too so got a nice £70 tracking at the moment for that!
