went into o2 in angel the other day after another store told me they had 5 8gb iphones in stock, was told there that they were reserved, to which i replied i was always told they couldnt be reserved! They then told me they had been reserved for staff!!! i thought that was out of order.
Bit optimistic if you're hoping for an answer.
more importantly does he still have one to sell

wait for the "I got sacked today" thread in GD.
When you buy a staff iPhone you sign the receipt saying you will only buy two and not sell them on. I seem to remember that other guy here (or his mate) bought about half a dozen thinking that because they didn't check how many you'd already bought at the point of sale that they could get away with buying as many as they wanted.
I bet the people who have been fired bought a load and then sold them on, not realising they would be found out later.
