O2 free texts in dubai?

going away for a week to dubai next tuesday and because the gf's not coming she wanted to kno if i could text her.

i'll be takin the payg just in case i loose the contract but i was wondering will my 300 free texts still work? and how much would a tect cost?

No it will not work over there ie the free texts that is. Texts from abroad are 20p each on o2, so you will be charged for each text sent abroad to the uk and your gf will be charged as well .

If his girl friend is in the UK she will not be charged.

When i went abroad the text were "discounted" against the free ones if you have any left so in my case on o2;

Normal txt costs 10p
Abroad txt 25p

I paid 15p per txt

just come back from malaysia and my free minutes were not used had to pay for each call and text

If your gf has free txt and she is in the uk, she can still use her free txt to txt you. You will be charged to txt her back though, im not sure how much.

I got my free texts when I was in Dubai, but it used something like 5 free texts to send one text.
