O2 Game & Application Sharing update?

as i cant DMZ through their useless router, my PS3 games refuse to connect half the time (looks at fifa) and on the PC MW2 half the time wont neither will BFBC2 at all.

so to combat this i though it would be easy to DMZ the PS3 and add the ports needed for the PC.


Lo and behold, the o2 Thompson router doesnt DMZ (well O2 wont let it with all that firmware crap on it). so i was wondering if there is a way to update the Game & Application Sharing so that it includes newer games?

or anyway to rid the o2 firmware and put on the thomson one?

I am with o2 and dont get any issues with my PS3 gaming. And I play all three of those games fine. BF2 disconnects a few times but that happens with most people I think.

There are very few instances where you need to forward ports, it's only for some games that use a P2P method for multiplayer. MW2 and BC2 don't need anything unless you're hosting a game. For those that may require it you just add a new/custom application on that page though most modern games will just use UPnP.
