Essex innit!
Bought one of these and thought I would give a review. I have asked Overclockers to get them in stock as well, as I feel although they are pricey, they do a great job and will save you money in the long run.

:)

Holy crap they are pricey!

Don't look like they push much air either, a small 1/5HP compressor is actually quieter, cheaper and stronger. Nice little review though, thanks :)

They're rubbish as they have a limited battery life considering you pay £80.

15 cans of air per charge
Can be charged up to 500 times
Can last up to 15 min

There is a reason why this bombs in America compared to the Datavac.

Yeah, I wouldn't be spending that much money on something like that I'm afraid. Glad to hear that it serves you well, but I wouldn't be using it anywhere near enough to warrant 80 quid on it.

I have a Datavac, and it's superb. Expensive but does what was intended!

Think I paid about £100 though for it when I used to do console repairs.

I was chuffed with it and did a good job for me. I can see how that datavac gets good write ups as well but having not tried that, I can't really compare.

Overall, I was happy with the O2 and it did the job it was bought for :)

Hurricane Canless Air System vs Canned Air

I still prefer canned air and if you really don't know how to use canned air correctly then you can buy the ones that don't throw out liquid even if turned upside down.

I don't bother with the ones that don't throw out liquid, because I know how to use canned air correctly and anytime you use canned air you are meant to use it while the system is not on and you should always wait a while for the system to get back up to room temperature before you turn it back on or of course you will cause damage due to moisture that may have condensed onto the parts.

Also anyone that uses canned air always has more than one can on the go because one will need time to warm back up and allow the liquid to turn back into air and you should never turn a can upside down and use it or of course it will throw liquid out.

Also if you setup your case fans correctly and have filters you shouldn't need to do it often with cans, positive pressure is what you want to have setup in your case it stops dust getting in. I never have a problem with dust because I now make sure to have positive pressure and filters (Every 6 months a quick blow with a can and all is good). Case filters cleaned with vac every month to remove any dust on them.

By the look of the dust in that case you need a hoover not a blower :-)

Yes that's what I was thinking too, maybe vac the room and dust the room too, I would cry if my system got that dusty and even when I didn't clean my system for over a year it never got that bad and was a 20 min cleaning job with a can of air and a paint brush and was good as new.

This cant beat my paddling pool electric pump and i take my case out side to do this job. £80 is a total rip off price also.
£25 for a very good pump if you look around

Well it seemingly works out cheaper than buying the same amount of canned air for the amount of times you can charge it up and use it

A very harsh reply and I am guessing you don't watercool, as you would know the dust gets trapped in the rad fins big time. I did clean my case 6 months ago as well but didn't go to the extent of removing the rad fans and rads and cleaning them properly.

Reading this thread reminds me how spoilt I am to be able to take my stuff to work and use the buildings compressed air lines :p That thing can make a 4+ year old pc that's never been cleaned look brand new

so it's a mini hoover that blows instead of sucks....and costs a small fortune.

I'd rather grab a air compressor and air brush (actually have these already) than one of those, it works out cheaper lol

Yeah for the price point this or datavac isn't exactly a deal breaker. It will "save you money in the long run", you are right but in what, 10 years? :p I'd rather just use compressed air tbh, would only buy one of these electric blowers if they were around £30.
