O2 iPhone contracts

Hello Folks.

I bought an iPhone 5 for the wife today on O2. But no contract or anything.

I want to get an O2 iPhone 5 contract but shes currently on Vodafone and I want to port her number over.

So the first question is what are the iPhone tarrifs like from O2 (for people who have the phone already).
And is it easy to port numbers over from one provider to another?

To transfer her number, just ask Vodafone for her PAC code, then when you get it give it to O2.
