O2 iPhone Sim card question

So im on a 3g simplicity tariff with o2 atm, what I would like to know is if I buy the iphone on pay & go, can I only use the sim that it comes with or can I use my previous sim card in it and access the full functionality of the phone? I know O2 like to lock you in pretty hard with this phone..

I tried another O2 sim card in my PAYG iPhone and it seemed to work just fine so I can't see why it would be a problem.

iphones are only on 02 i believe unless they are unlocked.

It will work with any other 02 simcard,

I bought the iPhone ages ago and have used Simplicity tariff since day 1

Works perfectly except no visual voicemail, no big loss!
