O2 Network down?

http://www.ofcom.org.uk/radiocomms/...and/cellular/3g/maps/3gmaps/coverage_maps.pdf

It would seem by this document that O2 doesn't have the best 3G coverage, look as if T-Mobile does, by far.

T-Mobile has great coverage in the south/south east prolly the best, but its pretty ropey the further north you go and not amazing in the south west.

EDIT: O2 3G+ coverage doesn't look too hot on that map... but if you include GPRS coverage - very rare not to get full GPRS on O2 even when your in the middle of nowhere...

They've been having a fair amount of problems over the last couple of days. There was an automated message on their service number yesterday saying that they were aware of the problems and were trying to resolve them. I kept getting Network Error and Communication Error all of yesterday but it has been fine today.

Been fine for me all day at work and fine now at home.

Didn't have any 3G on the M6 while I spent 2 n half hours in traffic, not sure if it normally works there or not.

I've been suffering this all day. I thought it was because I was at Wembley and O2 didn't have the network capacity to cope. Obviously its a wider problem. :(
