Well just recieved my K800i from O2 :) yay!! Well, double yay, thanks to O2's partial ineptness i got 2, but the one i wanted! :D

Ordered a silver one on weds of last week then got a mail in the evening telling me it wouldn't be available for 2-3 weeks, ok, no biggie i guess, would have been nice, but.. so called up, cancelled the silver one as it wouldn't be here for a while and ordered a black one, then today, both show up, with an Extra bond dvd set under the order number of the Silver one, called O2, arranged returns of the black one, no problem at all, mention the 2nd dvd set on the silver and just told to keep it, thanks O2, my brother will be very happy, and i got the silver K800i :) Everyone's a winner!!

...and the best thing of course is that everything you have is legitimately yours.
The amount of people who would have told you to keep everything and then not tell anyone had you posted this another way would have been scary.

Maybe so, but they were both new contracts, so if i didn't return it they wouldn't be able to finish the cancellation process of the 2nd contract when they recieve the phone back :D

I would personally give O2 a call and explain the situation and make them arrange to pick it up. Due to how rubbish they are they'll probably forget about it, but you want to at least give them the option. I couldn't have it on my mind knowing that at any given time they might catch up with me and chase me for £200+.

Yeah, i actually called them about 10 mins after they both arrived, explained the situation, said i wanted to keep the silver one, within 2 hours they mailed me a freepost address & code to put on the box, nipped down to post office a day later, 35p just parcel by freepost, next day recieved a confirmation mail to say the account no longer exists etc..

Was a really quick painless procedure and they were actually a pleasure to deal with :)
