Looking for a new ISP and have narrowed it down to these 2, i do allready have sky tv so sky would be cheaper but willing to pay the extra if o2 is worth it.

i've been with sky for a couple of years now and still pleased with it so i'd say go with them since it's cheaper

Have you checked it's Sky and O2 LLU service?

I was on a Sky non-LLU connection on Friday evening, and router was synced at 8128kbps. Downloads from Microsoft, Adobe, and other big names were crawling along at sub 500 to 70 KB/s. And that was doing one at a time. So just as bad as O2's Access package (non-LLU).

Been with a lot of broadband providers in the past. Tiscali then to BT then to TalkTalk then to Sky.

This is my ranking:

1. Sky
2. BT
3. Tiscali
4. TalkTalk

Sky have given me no problems ever! (only the wireless sucks on the provided modem so I bought a Belkin Wireless N router that sorted it).

BT are good but expensive.

Tiscali (only on dial up with them :P)

TalkTalk (Dont even say there name, It is uncountable the amount fo problems I have had with them and there service is about as good as asking a hobo to do your plumbing...)

Now O2 my sister is with them and she ahs had no problem but she gets it cheap because she ahs an iPhone contract. So I would say Sky would be your best choice you get true unlimited download and you get a bit cheaper because you are already with Sky :)

O2!!!

Switched to them from BT about 2 years ago and they have been suuuuuuuuperb! I rarely get connection problems and have only needed to call them once... and their support is English / Scottish ;)

Highly recommend them, especially considering how much ive downloaded and they've never complained!
