I've already checked the FAQ, but can't see anything stating that bags cannot be placed in the cloakroom.

I mean there's literally two sections that deal with it:
"What’s your bag policy and will I get in with my rucksack/helmet/suitcase?"
"Is there a cloakroom?"
Small items, no large rucksacks, suitcases and on the is there a cloakroom section:

If so I've been in. A deceptively big dance floor. I didn't have a bag though.
