Currently using the o2 Wireless Box IV Router. This router states that it can handle b/g/n Looking into the wireless settings on the router, the wireless speeds aren't 150mbps which is the max for this router.

I have changed Channel to "1" as using inssider shows this to be the cleanest option and after reading some forums they say to use WPA2 for security with AES. Router has latest firmware, and still connection speeds keep changing.

Does anyone know why it won't stay at 150mps or at least near that speed.
Does anyone also know if this o2 router is Dual Band?

This is what it looks like when I change the settings:

Then when I refresh, the actual speed has dropped:

Thanks

Yep this is the speen that your computer / devices will be talking to the router,
i have never seen it stay at 150.

Try using channle 13.
Thats what i have always had the best speed on.

Hmm, it never seems to stay unstable what ever channel. It's not a faulty router either its new. o2 seem to only give you the most basic router options too which is frustrating.

There's nothing else close to the router. There are
8 wireless devices connected to it, and two pc's through ethernet.
The devices arent always connected at the same time though.

Apparently older g devices can reduce speeds as the router has to slow down to process G speeds?
